For this milestone anniversary during a peak transformation period for the park, I developed an integrated communication strategy combining Cast engagement and external amplification.
For this anniversary we wanted to focus on the future of the park but highlight the heritage by sharing the stories of Cast Members in our Studios Stories and Hollywood Heritage series. For Hollywood Heritage, I identified heritage Cast Members who would be comfortable on camera, conducted preliminary interviews and lead the film shoots with our production team. For Studios Stories I developed a strategy where Cast across Walt Disney World Resort could submit their personal connections to the park. I then leveraged those stories to be shared on the Hub as well as our 30th hubsite in a text-based video format.
